ERIC WEISS WROTE:
"I've heard that the language tools on the Silver edition are capable of
complex language searches like others I've looked at (e.g., GRAMCORD), and
that the capabilities of the language searches on the Silver edition are not
just the same but perhaps better than those of the Original Languages
Library or the Scholar's Library (that doesn't seem to be stated at Logos's
site, though)."
HERE'S A HELPFUL LINK WITH A COMPARISON CHART
http://www.logos.com/products/info/comparison. CURRENTLY THERE IS NO
DIFFERENCE IN THE SEARCH CAPABILITIES AS BOTH INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES
ADD-IN AND BOTH PERFORM "GRAPHICAL QUERIES" OF THE GNT AND THE LXX. THESE
QUERIES AFFORD YOU THE ABILITY TO SEARCH VIA GRAMMATICAL PARAMETERS. YOU'LL
FIND SIMILAR CAPABILITIES WITH ACCORDANCE, BIBLEWORKS, ETC. I SETTLED ON
LOGOS FOR THE "EXTRA" BOOKS - DICTIONARIES AND COMMENTARIES.
"Are the language search capabilities in Logos Scholar's Library (regular or
Silver) pretty close to what I could achieve with GRAMCORD? Has anyone here
experienced/used the latest Logos Original Language Library and/or the
Scholar's Library (regular or Silver) so as to comment?"
GRAMCORD IS THE ENGINE THAT RUNS THE SEARCH CAPABILITIES WITHIN THE
NESTLE-ALAND 27TH EDITION OF THE GREEK NEW TESTAMENT.
