[B-Greek] QEOS, CRISTOS, ?

Mitch,
I think you are getting at the nomina sacra, abbreviations used by Christian
scribes in biblical manuscripts. Metzger, Manuscripts of the Greek Bible, p.
36, lists fifteen--apparently a fixed list--that eventually came to be used
in Byzantine mss. One of them is PNA (nom.) or PNS (gen.) for PNEUMA.
Metzger's full list (but I translate): God, Lord, Jesus, Christ, son,
spirit, David, cross, mother, father, Israel, savior, man, Jerusalem,
heaven.
