More provocative thoughts on learning Greek from my morning's blog-
reading, this by M.B.J. Wright from "Memento Vivere" at http://
classicism21.blogspot.com/ entitled "An Apology for the Greek
Language" and dated August 10, 2005.
"... the big deal breaker—Greek. Not introductory Greek mind you,
that’s usually a cake walk, especially for people with Latin.
Intermediate Greek is where souls are broken."
Sounds about right to me.
