There was a very puzzling paragraph near the end of the review

"There was one more substantial criticism. Given that the SESB supports
detailed and sophisticated work with biblical texts, it is surprising
that there is (as far as any of us could find) no account of variants in
the textual tradition. It would be fascinating to be able to access
significant variant readings through hyperlinks -- and, one might think,
potentially revelatory, too."
I find this puzzling since, although I have not yet purchased SESB, I do
intend to do so precisely because it DOES have a critical apparatus
(unlike all other electronic Biblical texts). I would suggest that her
students never learned to use all of the features of this product. To
view its capabilities go to

Page down to "Other Screenshots" near the bottom of the page where the
apparatus is illustrated.
