I lave long been puzzled by the KAQAPER clause. It is necessary to
supply both subject and
verb; most translations seem to supply the subject DOXA and a simple
copula; so e.g.,
NRSV, 'for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit'. But KQAPER must
introduce a comparison:
'just as ...', and I can't see precisely how this would work. Can anyone
explain this exegesis?
Many thanks.
