Dear Friends, I am currently working on Rom 1:4:

tou oristhentos uiou theou en dunamei kata pneuma agiwsunhs
eks anastasews nekrwn, Ihsou Xristou tou kuriou hmwn

In the Greek-Russian dictionary by Dvoretsky, in the article
about the word "oristhentos" (orizw) I found out that in
Euripides (reference?) there is a phrase "orizesthai matros
ek xeroin", which means "to be withdrawn from the hands of
mather", if I translate it correctly.

Thus, my question is: Can the phrase "tou oristhentos ...
eks anastasews nekrwn" be somehow correlated in meaning with
the phrase from Euripides???
