The following message didn't come correctly through to the list, so I've
slightly reformatted it (altering the transliteration to reflect the
standard formatting indicated in the list's FAQ at:

Subject: [B-Greek] Rom 1:4
Dear Friends, I am currently working on Rom 1:4:
TOU hORISQENTOS hUIOU QEOU EN DUNAMEI KATA PNEUMA hAGIWSUNHS
EX ANASTASEWS NEKRWN, IHSOU CRISTOU TOU KURIOU hHMWN
In the Greek-Russian dictionary by Dvoretsky, in the article
about the word "hORISQENTOS" (hORIZW) I found out that in
Euripides (reference?) there is a phrase "hORIZESQAI MATROS EK CEROIN",
which means "to be withdrawn from the hands of
mOther", if I translate it correctly.
Thus, my question is: Can the phrase "TOU hORISQENTOS ...
EX ANASTASEWS NEKRWN" be somehow correlated in meaning with
the phrase from Euripides???
