Dan Wallace did his dissertation on the GS rule, and should have a good
view of the passage. His conclusion was that Titus 2:13 is a legitimate
passage for the GS rule.

Subject: [B-Greek] Grandville sharp and Ha Elohim

I was wondering if hO QEOS in Titus 2:13 could be seen as a proper noun
in light of Ha' Elohim in Hebrew.

I was translating a passage in Hebrew and I was using Walke and O
Connor. p249 And they said the following about an article + a noun...

Sometimes, through usage, the article not only points out a particular
person or thing, but it also elevates it to such a position of
uniqueness that the noun + article combination becomes the equivalent of
a proper name. Among English speakers, for example, in some communities
'the city' no longer designates one city out of many, but through usage
denotes 'The City,' the only city in that area.

Then they go on to list Ha' Elohim as a proper name. If ho QEOS is the
same as Ha' Elohim, what does that do to Grandvilled Sharp's rule in
Titus 2:13?? Because normally we don't think of hO Qeos as a proper
noun.
