Hello, Pastor Art,
Well, I'm not David Haeuser, but I thought I'd write to you. Forgive my intrusion, here. In fact, what a coincidence. My daughter and I, along with a CEF director friend, were in Las Tunas, Cuba in July doing teacher training - but almost didn't make it because of hurricane Emily. Anyway, that has nothing to do with Greek, I know.

Check out this website:

www.pandevida.com

Pan de Vida has a lot of resources in Spanish, including this one Greek grammar. To me, it would seem difficult to begin with Dana and Mantey. This grammar advertises itself as a good primer to get one ready for D and M.

However, the Machem text is probably where you would like your Cuban pastor friend to begin.

Also, I know that Dr. Parker out of Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, TX spent many years getting ready and then printing his Greek/Spanish Lexicon. It's not a translation of an English work. I am not familiar with the other Greek/Spanish lexicons.

If you type in "Griego" in the search feature at Pan de Vida, quite a few resources come up.

I hope that you find this somewhat helpful. What I would love to find is a Greek grammar in Spanish that is not a translation from English. Well, I haven't looked very far, either, but maybe someone knows about such a thing?

Robertson is also in Spanish, but that may be a bit intimidating.

Hey, I found this post from Haeuser:

I'll dig some more to find the Dana and Mantey for you. It's at the Casa Bautista de Publicacion, but I gotta' head for the airport this evening. My husband has to go to Honduras, hurricane damage or not...

God bless, and take care,
Mrs. Donna Louise Carlaw

Dear David Haeuser, I am Pastor Art McCafferty in Lincoln, Montana. We are a sister church with an independent church in Las Tunas, Cuba. The pastor there would like to learn Greek. Can you help us with the address of places where we can buy the Dana Maney text and or workbooks? He knows English but we would like to find study materials for him in Spanish. Thank you. Art
