I'm not sure about 'introducing', but HXIOU would be the verb of cognition,
and 'to not take with' would be the content of his thought, with the
conclusion that it was a good idea to not take with. I suppose the
'infinitiveness' introduces the indirect discourse, and the sense of the
verb is the content..?
