What does the group think of rendering the verse this way:
hOITINES OU MH GEUSWNTAI QANATOU hEWS AN IDWSIN THN BASILEIAN TOU QEOU
ELHLUTHUIAN EN DUNAMEI
".who won't ever die/taste death until they've seen the kingdom of God come
in/with power"
The idea of the perfect tense (past action, present/ongoing resultant
condition) works here in English through the verb to see on behalf of the
verb to come (ERCOMAI)-they've seen it come, which implies that it has come
and stayed. Or does ELHLUQUIAN almost have the force, "they've seen the
kingdom of God *present* in/with power"?
