What the THi does is attach TOU hENOS ANQRWPOU IHSOU CRISTOU  
attributively to the immediately preceding CARITI. It could just as  
well have been written THi CARITI TOU hENOS ANQRWPOU IHSOU CRISTOU.or  
THi TOU hENOS ANQRWPOU IHSOU CRISTOU CARITI.
