[B-Greek] (no subject)

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but I have been unable to find
it in the archives. In Matthew 19:9 where the translation reads: "commits
adultery" which is present tense does the original Greek word indicate an
on-going adultery that can only be severed by a dissolution of the marriage?
