[B-Greek] a participle for TUGXANW

TUGCANW is not the verb you'd want here anyhow -- it's an auxiliary  
that's used with a supplementary participle: ETUGCANON KAQIZWN = "I  
happened to be sitting" or better, "As chance would have it, I was  
sitting ... "

The verb you want for the context is GI(G)NOMAI in the sense "take  
place" or "occur" or archaic English "come to pass." I'd think you'd  
want the perfect ptc. n. GEGONOS, and in this instance the neuter sg.  
gen. TOU GEGONOTOS.
