Persbacher's lexicon gives the meaning of DOULOS as enslaved, enthralled, subservient. The KJV, NIV, Message use the word slave or servant. Is Paul making it known that he is Jesus' servant/slave only or is he adding to it something of what it's like to be with Jesus and may be expressing a feeling of being enthralled by him, something really exciting? First post from Matt a wannabegreeka.
