You are correct that ἑστάναι [hESTANAI] is a Pf MP inf. I am somewhat puzzled that in a book titled _Basics of Biblical Greek_ Mounce would include a form which does not appear in the NT or even in the LXX. It does, however, appear elsewhere. Philo in "De confusione linguarum" has

TO DE QEION KAI AORATON KAI AKATALHPTON KAI PANTAXOU hON hORATON TE KAI KATALHPTON OUDAMOU PROS ALHQEIAN ESTIN "hWDE STAS EGO PRO TOU SE". DEIKNUSQAI KAI KATALAAMBANESQAI DOKWN, PRO PASHS DEICEWS KAI FANTASIAS hUPERBALWN TA GEGONOTA.

Borgen, P., Fuglseth, K., & Skarsten, R. (2005). The Works of Philo : Greek Text with Morphology (Conf 138). Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc.

But the divine being, both invisible and incomprehensible, is indeed everywhere, but still, in truth, he is nowhere visible or comprehensible. But when he says, “I am he who stands before thee” he appears indeed to be displayed and to be comprehended, though before any exhibition or conception he was superior to all created things.

Philo, o. A., & Yonge, C. D. (1996, c1993). The works of Philo : Complete and unabridged (246). Peabody: Hendrickson.

The word is a pres mid inf. I apologise for not feeling well enough to bother to translate it myself.

Subject: [B-Greek] BBG: Appendix Errors?

Ladies and Gentlemen:
I was wondering whether someone might verify that these are mistakes in
Mounce and not me being stupid (doubtless a much higher probability):

Basics of Biblical Greek (Appendices) / Mounce ss80: p376 : Infinitive
DEIKNUSQAI: Mounce=F-M-Inf Baldwin=P-MP-Inf (cf Smyth ss422)
hESTANAI: Mounce=Pf-MP-Inf Baldwin=2Pf-A-Inf (cf MBG/Mounce ss84
footnote 2)

Thanks

Steve Baldwin
