[B-Greek] Recommendations about how to learn Attic Greek

Making a recommendation for resources for the study of classical Greek for a person who has had a lengthy acquaintance with Koine is somewhat different from making a recommendation for someone who has never studied the language. I would recommend on the basis of your experience that you obtain a copy of Smyth's _Greek Grammar_ and some classical texts (perhaps with commentary) and begin reading. Check your constructions with Smyth until you begin to understand them and read, read, read (then read some more). I wouldn't recommend Smyth to someone who has a very minimal or no acquaintance with Greek since it is not an introductory grammar.

Subject: [B-Greek] Recommendations about how to learn Attic Greek
Hello all:
Could someone put me on the track of these recommendations, or any other,
of how best to pursue a course of Attic Greek, given that:
1. I have been studying Koine 27 years
2. I need to study on my own and not attend a school somewhere
Thanks!
