[B-Greek] Soft ware Books

As far as a Greek library goes, I have found that books last longer,
while electronic libraries are easier to work with. Books will be
around for quite a while, unlike electronic resources. (No one knows
how long electronic resources will last, and technology is
ever-changing, which brings up compatibility issues. Moreover, the
average computer lasts a person around five years, and the likelihood of
transferring a library to your third or fourth computer seems
unlikely.) But electronic resources present an easier interface for
reference; you won't have to spend an entire minute just to locate a
single lexical entry. Electronic resources also present better
concordance features. Since the web continually presents better and
better electronic resources, I prefer to purchase paper and use the
"freebies" the web provides.

Yours,
Elliot Poe
