Subject: GREEK PATROLOGY

Dear Sirs
this is to infrom you that our Laboratory at the University of the
Aegean
has posted a large part of Migne's P.G. in a searchable pdf version
(to be read in Palatino linotype or Tahoma) and several other Greek
polytonic texts.

The site is entirely in Greek language as we wish to know the
geographic distribution of those who can effectively read polytonic
Ancient and Medieval Greek (it is known that only 20% of Western
Hellenists can read the original texts).

We are now looking for funds to develop an accurate Greek polytonic
OCR, that can read the large collection of -.jpg format pages that
one can find in various web sites and in particular collection.

Yours truly
