[B-Greek] 2 Cor 13:7 where is the concessive force in the Greek?

Dear Mark,
DE hWS = even as. It appears that you are adding an "EI" or "EAN" (if) when it
is not there. It maybe that you are understanding it as so, but the idea is that
"even as we might (appear) disapproved (not genuine; disqualified)." You will
note that (appear, FANWMEN) is understood from the previous clause. BDF
paragraph 17 discusses elisions. The index shows both ALLA and DE as being used
in elision.
The Corinthians were to appear to be do so good that even Paul and his
associates would appear to be not genuine or disapproved.
