[B-Greek] Vocab retention methodology

I find that the only way to really get a handle on vocabulary is to read large amounts of Greek from various types of writings. If you spend all of your time reviewing vocab cards, you are likely to forget it as soon as you quit -- or very shortly thereafter. This is because you really haven't learned the words but only to associate a gloss with a Greek word. To truly learn vocabulary in Greek you need to read and look up words in BDAG then check the examples. Checking the examples of usage gives you an understanding of when a word is used in some particular sense rather than having a list of 3-4 glosses with a "just pick one" philosophy.

I use Mounce's flash cards in combination with as much translations &
reading as possible. I don't think there's any other way, but if you find one,
please let me know.
Of course there's the emersion way living in, and surrounded by people
speaking on Koina Greek but that's not a possibility for me at this time.
