I think George meant a predicate nominative, since DUNAMIS is a noun, not an
adjective (but it's the same net result as to which word is the subject:
"it").

BTW, the rule for determining the subject of an equative verb is that a
pronoun (he, it, etc.) would take priority over a common noun as the
subject, There are other rules as well (e.g.,  if only one noun has an
article, the articular noun is the subject of an equative verb like EIMI,
GINOMAI, hUPARCW).
