[B-Greek] Ephesians 1:5; EIS AUTON; Who got it right?

Eric,

I just realized I wrote Colossians instead of
Ephesians.

Eric you are right, I didn't look closely enough at
the NIV.

You make a good point about the NAS being translation
English.

I think EIS AUTON modifies hUIOQESIAN and identifies
who the father is

the New American Standard version is translation
English. I don't think
English speakers say "adopted to himself." They say
"adopted as his
 own."

Therefore my vote is for the NIV.
