Unicode is not a font, is an encoding system. That means when Windows XP is enabled to use Greek Polytonic keyboard, it is posible to use diacritic marks in any software.
Follow this steps to enable Greek diacritic marks in Windows XP.
1. Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages / Details / Add:
Input language: Greek, Keyboard layout: Greek Polytonic.
2. Control Panel / Regional and Language Options / Languages / Details / Language Bar:
Check: Show the language bar on the desktop
3. From the language bar choose " EL Greek ".
Now you can write in Greek in ANY software that you are using.
Moreover, you can swtich languages whenever you want.
4. Use the following keys to type the diacritical marks (it might vary in differents keyboards, but it is not very hard to find out)
ά type ;a
ὰ type ]a
ᾶ type ]a
ἀ type 'a
ἁ type "a
ἄ type /a
ἅ type ?a
ἂ type \a
ἃ type |a
ἆ type =a
ἇ type +a
ᾀ type {ctrl} {alt} ;a
ᾲ type {ctrl} {alt} ]a
ᾷ type {ctrl} {alt} [a
etc
That's it !
