In Paul's letters he often uses the phrase - EN QEW PATRI - in referring to God the Father. It seems to be trendy to address God as "Father God" in some circles. Do any of you see Paul's address in 1 Thessalonians 1:1 as "in Father God"?
Thank-you for your various comments. I was simply asking if this Greek text allowed the translation of "in Father God" or even "in the Father God." I don't see that this translation would be best but wondered if any one had considered this.

I'm not sure whether you are attempting to justify / discredit such usage based on its use / non-use in the NT, but why should prayer be simply a catena of scripture passages? In any case, this forum is really not the place to decide that question. ...That's not the issure. - WFS
