Subject: [B-Greek] Question About Latin
>>This question is off subject but here goes. I am wanting to not only
refresh my Latin but would like to delve into ecclesiastical Latin as
well, maybe some Vulgate. I am thinking perhaps of a book with a
selection of texts or maybe a good primer. I am sure that there must be
a few on this list that are familiar with the language. Any and all
suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.<<
Start with a Classical primer such as Wheelock. It's not the
ecclesiastical in Ecclesiastical Latin that troubles most people, it's the
Latin part. Starting with a good classical primer opens the whole range of
Latin literature to you. There is a textbook called something like "A
Primer of Ecclesiastical Latin..." Avoid that one.
