[B-Greek] Sin Offering

I suppose that I ought to briefly introduce myself. I joined the
B-Greek mailing list in 2000, not long after finishing first-year Greek
(studying on my own). I left the list at some point during the next
year, as I had little time to pursue my study of Greek. After teaching
mathematics for a couple of years, my wife and I moved back to our home
town, and I was able to fulfill my life-long dream of preaching. With a
renewed enthusiasm, I resumed my studies of the language of the NT and
now read from my Greek NT daily.

In Heb. 10:6, PERI hARMARTIAS is clearly taken from the LXX rendering
for "sin-offering." I have been trying to identify other examples of
this specialized use of hAMARTIA in the NT. So far I suspect Heb. 9:26
and 28 to be examples of this and possibly Heb. 5:3 and 13:11. Some
sources that I have read suggest 2 Cor. 5:21, but I consider this highly
suspect considering the contrast with DIKAIOSUNH. It appears to me that
this only occurs in Hebrews. This is not terribly surprising given the
extensive use of the LXX in this epistle, but I wonder if there might be
others I have overlooked.

If any of you have any information on this subject or could recommend
any reference material, I would be very appreciative.
