Is 'for a while' an acceptable translation of APO MEROUS in Romans 11:25?
i.e. "Israel has experienced a hardening for a while until the full number of Gentiles has come in"
all the translations I have render it '....a hardening in part'.
I was not sure why whether there is a reason it doesn't seem to be
translated 'for a while', given that it is in some other places
(e.g. Romans 15:24).
Many thanks
