Tradition says that Origen took to heart the teaching of Mt 19:12,
Matt. 19:12 ...
[Matt. 19:12 ... KAI EISIN EUNOUCOI hOITINES EUNOUCISAN
hEAUTOUS DIA THN BASILEIAN TWN OURANWN. hO DUNAMENOS
CWREIN CWREITW. ]

Now this strikes me as an appropriate time to use an interlinear. Mt. 19:12 is presented in Greek script, and it is also transliterated. But no translation. If someone, who's translation skills are slow, wants to achieve a quick understanding of the text in question, and doesn't have the time to labor through the verse, word by word, lexicon in hand, a glance at an interlinear would serve a useful purpose. Wouldn't you agree?
