Copied below is 1Co 11:30-32
(30) DIA TOUTO

(32) KRINOMENOI DE hUPO TOU KURIOU PAIDEUOMEQA
hINA MH SUN TWi KOSMWi KATAKRIQWMEN.
My question is about the phrase hUPO TOU KURIOU in v. 32.
Does the phrase ‘hUPO KURIOU’ modify anaphorically PAIDEOUMEQA? Or
kataphorically KRINOMENOI. Is there a rule in this kind of syntax?
If it is latter, the meaning would be ‘But when we are judged by the
Lord, we get disciplined so that ~’.
Thanks for your expert help.
Oun Kwon.
