In Das Kapital, this text is quoted the way Louis understands
it to establish the fact that the bourgeoisie creditors can only
see the proletarian debtors in terms of their surplus value.
They are only what they owe. He calls this "Reification,"
turning the essence of a person into a mere economic value.
But I think we are missing the Marx.
