Hi, Oun,

Compare Shakespeare, Sonnet 94:

"The summer's flower is to the summer sweet,
though to itself it only live and die..."

hEAUTWi ZAW (Rm 14:7)
TWi KURIWi ZAW ~ APOQNHSKW (Rm 14:8)

What is the nuance of dative here? Is it enough to take as 'for
oneself' 'for the Lord', a very acceptable English expression (but
something missing)? It seems more it there.

Oun Kwon.
