What is the difference, if any, between the aor mid of ginomai and the aor
pass of ginomai as used in Mat 11:21 and 23. In 21 Jesus says, "If in Tyre
and Sidon were done (aor mid) the works...". Here he uses the aor mid. Then
is verse 23 he says, "if in Sodom were done (aor pass) the works...". But
here he uses the aor pass of ginomai. Is there any special nuance or just
stylistic variation?
