(1) HOW do you manage to stay this literate in Biblical studies when
you are a CLASSICIST?
And (2) WHY don't I have any Classicist colleagues like this--
at Berkeley (23 years), or Harvard or Wellesley (16+ years)? To a person
(and I dearly love some of them), they are biblical illiterates, who think
that looking down on the NT proves their high standards.
How I wish you were my colleague in Classics here!
