I saw this reprint of Vol 1&2 or one like it with the same date (mid
60's) for sale in a used book store in 1993 for $40. The quality of the
photo reproduction left a lot to be desired. The apparatus was barely
readable, looked like a 10th generation zerox on old equipment. I looked
at it several times, over a period of months. It was in a dumpy little
book store 1 Block from the Univ. of Washington run by a disreputable
old man who looked like an opium eater and always hired underfed teenage
girls for clerks.. No one was in any rush to buy it but after about six
months it disappeared. I must have looked it over and mulled over
purchasing it half a dozen times but at that time it seemed to me a
useless relic of the past. Had no idea in '93 that people still used it.
