My 2 cents about vessils:

1 Peter 3:7 Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with your wives according
to knowledge, giving honor unto the female vessel, as weaker.

Is there any connection between this female vessel and the ones from
1Thes ? Maybe this passage proves the idea about body as vessel?
