Re: 1Thes 4:4 Can SKEUOS be used as a euphemism for male genitalia?

<x-flowed>There is a small article of J. Whitton (A neglected meaning for SKEUOS in 1
Thessalonians 4.4, NTS 28(1982), 142-143), in which the various possible
meanings of SKEUOS are discussed. Apart from the LXX and OT examples he also
mentions some from the Greek literature. Whitton is of the opinion that
SKEUOS here is the body and the whole verse indicates sexual connotations.
