Upon a bit of searching, it looks to me like this is a reformulation of
John 6:5: (Jesus) QEASAMENOS hOTI POLUS OCLOS ERCETAI PROS AUTON LEGEI PROS
FILIPPON, "POQEN AGORASWMEN ARTOUS hINA FAGWSIN hOUTOI?
