How We Did It
Workshop Session #2

During the second workshop, the kids spent time getting to know each other and their strong points. The parents also spent more time getting to know each other and talking about ways they coped with having a child who had cancer. We brought all of the families together to look at web pages and decide what was attractive and what wasn't about a variety of pages. Then all family members were assigned "homework" to develop the text and select the pictures for their pages.

Some of our participants spend some time
creating a "web" with a ball of yarn.

Each participant could ask a question
of the person they tossed the ball of yarn to.

Once the game was completed, the web connected
all of the participants together.
