Welcome to the home page for the POZNAN 2000 Project.The long term objective is to establish ongoing interactions and exchanges between the Research Triangle Universities (RTU) and Institutes of Higher Education in Poznan, Poland in all areas of biotechnology and material science research. The working collaboration will enable the exchange of research methods and experimental data, as well as exchange of established investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students. Biannual conferences, in association with the Institute of Bio-organic Chemistry (Polish Academy of Sciences) and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, and the RTU (North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Duke University) in the U.S., will provide an on-going forum for discussion and will facilitate interaction among researchers.
What's New
The main objective of the June 2000 conference in Poznan, Poland is to exchange information in a common area of research between North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University in the United States and the Institute of Bio-organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. At the conference, the five major institutions will share data and expertise in the use of physico-chemical and theoretical methods in the research fields of Biotechnology, Physics, and Material Science.
