All I've tried are beautiful in bloom, but their shape after limb sag
and breaking due to heavy fruit bearing don't compare to Bradfords. We
have a problem which has been mentioned here I believe, of sudden Asian
Pear death.
Also mine didn't like pruning and rewarded me with fire=blight. I've
tried Hosui, Chojuro, Shinseki. Barlett is the recommended pollinator
for Ya Li. Altho not an Asian, Moonglow has just become my favorite for
this area (never cool and hot frequently) replacing Orient (not an
Asian) Chojuro is my favorite Asian. Doc Lisenby Zone 7to8 SCar.
