[nafex] AgNIC Viticulture site

Hi all,
I am pleased to announce that my viticulture website and the Paul Evans
Library of Fruit Science has been accepted into the Agriculture Network
Information Center (AgNIC). The Viticulture website, once a list of fifty
links, has expanded to cover two webpages of over 200 categorized links.
The sites cover all aspects, from history and general information, to
organic viticulture, pests and diseases, journals, newsletters, and major
national organizations. It also includes full-text online publications,
labels of pesticides used on grapes, and of course major research
institutions and agencies at the forefront of viticulture research.

AgNIC serves as a guide to quality agricultural information on the Internet
as selected by the National Agricultural Library, land-grant universities,
other agricultural libraries, extension services and other organizations.
This voluntary alliance focuses on providing access to quality agricultural
information in electronic format available over the World Wide Web (WWW)
via the Internet. One of the objectives of AgNIC is that member
participants take responsibility for small vertical segments of
agricultural information (including basic, applied, and developmental
research, extension, and teaching activities in the food, agricultural,
renewable natural resources, forestry, and physical and social sciences)
and develop WWW home pages in that specific area of responsibility.
