[compost_tea] Re: Listserve Conventions



Hi All -- I agree with Mike Bosko on changing subjects being confusing but
would add that not changing subjects is also an issue.  I'd ask us to
include relevant portions of messages we are responding to and to state the
subject/thread using verbiage from the original message, if not the original
subject.  And delete everything else.  Jeff's admonition about replying to a
digest is well taken.  Pick your subject and message, pluck and place it,
please don't reply with an entire digest or too many repeats in tow...!

Another convention I'd suggest is when folks are talking about a
nutrient/compost recipe they state what the volume of water and compost are.
Air volume would be nice, too.  A teaspoon or an ounce of something in a tea
does not help me understand much if I don't know how much tea or
compost you're talking about.  Ya?  --  Kirk
