RE: [compost_tea] RE: compost tea defined

What I'm trying to point out is that people DO steep compost for weeks and
they DO call it CT. And they probably don't get very good results with it
because the stuff is anerobic. But this is their idea of what CT is.

I believe this is one reason we have so much trouble getting acceptance of
our product. People just don't understand what we are doing because they
are stuck on their definition of CT. The fact that both products have
nearly the same name doesn't help.

I'm going to try actively aerated CT on some people and see what responses
I get.

Oh, I got the gist of the sentence but what exactly does PNW mean?

Just avoid the use of the term soup, ok? This is not a food for human
consumption, although some people do drink it all the time.

And the Soil Soup advertising blitz has gotten to most people in the PNW,
and thus I believe we should avoid that term as well because of the mess
that is going to cause.

Actively aerated compost tea. That sounds good to me.

But I do disagree about tea as being steeped for weeks. No tea gets left in
the cup that long. Extracting plant material, yep, that's right. That's
what compost is, plant material.
