Re: [compost_tea] CT Recipes and rose black spot

Bob,
I truly rushed into the CT thing.  I have a SoilSoup system (personal economics).  Jeff has given me some great insights on enhancing its biomass diversity output.  I just seem to continue with a black spot problem - it's not many roses -  but still, the goal is progress.  Thanks - Bill

William, please look at what Paul Sachs submitted  on norganics.com today  He has a recipe and procedure that is doing very well with both BobOLator and Bitti.  These are air driven extractors with aeration following the extraction.  Cycle anywhere from  12 to 36 hours.

What machine to you use?   I am interested to know your results.   Bob

Bob,
No, I don't have that system.  Would you mind sending me the recipe?

I'm quiet new to the CT scene.  I've just begun using CT on my ornamental
gardens.  I would really appreciate recipes for ornamental plant disease
controls and, in particular, black spot on roses and Japanese beetle/beetle
grub control.  For a small area, what quantity per square foot works for a
soil drench?  This stuff is fascinating and very encouraging.  Thanks for
any help and suggestions.
