[compost_tea] Re: Compost Tea 'Data' from Yale
John,
I'm not really sure I understand the purpose of your post, other than to cr=
iticize all of the members of this group and then set yourself apart and ab=
ove all of us because you got a email from South Africa?!?
First off, congratulations on your work using compost teas and biological h=
orticulture. I think the more people worldwide that promote these technolo=
gies, the better.
That being said, maybe your time is better spent working with the S. Africa=
n Minister of Agriculture, rather than posting in our Yahoo Group. That is=
, unless you want to post something that's going to contribute to our discu=
ssion, or provide a new direction or information for us to pursue.
Sincerely,
Tad Hussey

PS: What are the "microbial elements" of Alaskan Humus? Bacteria/archea, =
fungi, and protozoa (flagellates, amoeba, etc..)?? Am I missing something =
here?

ster of agriculture from South Africa. They desired to reestablish soil fer=

Gaston. He is a client of my Canadian friend. His CPA. Serge and I talked f=
or a while and decided to attain both of their goals they would need microb=
es, nutrients, and humus. But aside from normal agriculture they need to be=
taught maintenance. Compost tea on a schedule. per my request he is obtain=
ing a soil sample. We had both decided you were the only man for the job. F=
irst do a test plot with a side by side. (actually 100 yard apart to avoid =
cross contamination) a 100 by 100 sq ft plot with a variety of local vegeta=
ble would be right. The next step is the 200 acre plot owned by our mutual =
friend. When the 200 acres shows promise Pierre Gaston had remarked that al=
l third world countries would be open for this technology and world bank fu=
nds would be available. Serge is now getting the soil test done. Let me kno=
w if you can jump into action. They will pay for the testing fee and all ex=
penses, which include air fare. Get back to me as soon as possible. Tom

u are right, it is important to describe what CTs do to plants. There is p=
