RE: [compost_tea] Organic Blueberry growers
There is an organic grower in Philomath Oregon and is very successful with =
tea from compost and castings and he sprays hevily and adds natural mineral=
s including kelp and has not only reduced diseases, increased production, a=
nd his brix counts are awesome. However, he will not give anything away ine=
xpensively. Plus he is very straightforward in the belief his ways are righ=
t. He has worked with Dr. Ingham and others.

Subject: [compost_tea] Organic Blueberry growers
Hello all,
I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with using Compost Tea in an or=
ganic blueberry system. I have a farmer that would like to run a trial to u=
se the Tea to deal with mummy berry. My suggestion was to get a living mulc=
h down (they have bark mulch right now), let the berries fall and spray wit=
h tea; the idea being to immunize the system against the mummy berry.
Any thoughts or previous experience?
Cheers,
Kathleen
