I'm behind on the Compost Tea forum but noticed this
thread on biodynamics and vortex water.

I teach biodynamics, vortex water, and homeopathics
in my workshops, along with all facets of soil
testing and mineralization, with humus management
and soil foodweb, with practical how-to farming
and gardening.

My sources on BD and vortex are drawn from a
larger body of research and collective field
experience.

The literature on these energetic topics gets
pretty in-depth considering the body of material
ranges from science journals, un-published research
reports, farmer articles, gray literature newsletters
and periodicals from the BD organizations
and associations going back decades, and email
forum postings over the last 20 years of the
Internet.

The first significant work on agrohomeopathy
in biodynamics was "Agriculture of Tomorrow"
by Eugen and Lily Kolisko published in 1939
or thereabouts, based on their research going
back to the 1920s.

Agrohomeopathy as a science has taken off in
recent years and there's been a number of
peer-reviewed science papers published
on this topic. But I only have to point
to the modern-day research of Glen Atkinson
with Garuda Biodynamics/BDMax in NZ to prove
that homeopathy based on BD preparations is
demonstrable.

While Steiner was mentioned as an authority on
the purpose of using vortex water, see the
publications by and about Theodore Schwenk and
Viktor Schauberger to get into some really
good material on water and its ability to
morph with vortex action and to "pick up"
and "carry" information.

It helps to put these energetic
agricultural practices into the category
of subtle energy -- with all its limitations
but also its potentials.
