Howdy everyone,
The "We use a trace amount of phosphoric acid for stabilization"
seems to be around 2.5 ounces per gallon.
Usually the more 'Natural' it is the more acid that has to be thrown
to it. Excessive acid has it's story to tell.
The question I have is what effect does the Low 3.5 - 4.0 pH have on
the various goodies that the Enzymatically digested, low pH,
low heat process has been designed to spare?
I use some hydrolysate and like it but feel that the old
Fish Emulsion people also also have their story to tell and like to alterna=
te both products at different times.
Irregardless of what may or may not be removed some Fish Emulsion
still runs a solids content of 45-50% which is as thick as I care
for it to be.
It can only hold so many things and that can become a part of the Untold st=
ory. In around 40 years with the same
Lq. Fish / Kelp emulsion outfit they have never let me down.
For years before them an old Master Gardener made
some product up with 2/3 of the Lq. Fish (which was easy to get)
plus 1/3 of Lq. Kelp which he had to make himself.
I believe this legendary mix to be the hot deal, then and now.
