It is common practise in this group to refer to fermentation as the anaerob=
ic process used to create Effective Microbial products (etc.) and aerobic d=
ecomposition to create the biological products this group is interested in.=
Other people may have other definitions, but as long as we can surmise wha=
t they mean (or if they tell us) then surely that’s ok.
Just like organic chemist talk about any molecule with a Carbon atom as Org=
anic Chemistry, while we have a different definition of Organic.

Brian, by definition fermentation is an anerobic process used to create alc=
ohol. This is not a debate, this is the definition.

That depends on the plausibility of "aerobic fermentation." if so, its ok. =
If not, then we are still trying to avoid fermentation in the dirt (althoug=
h fermentation in/next to the garden can be useful).
